The statistics say Juneau is pretty bad (as are the rest of the cities in Alaska) but I've also read from people who live there that it's pretty nonexistent or you will see very little crime. Commencing February 26, the Juneau Police Department will require people to go online and file a report when reporting certain non-in progress crimes which include theft, vandalism to property, frauds up to $5000 and motor vehicle accidents without injuries and less than $5000 vehicle damage.
